1981, William and Elaine Kibbe began a small structural engineering
firm in Saginaw, Michigan. A structural engineer
with expertise in commercial and manufacturing facilities, Kibbe
carved out a niche serving the specific needs of mid-Michigan's
automotive manufacturing industry.
As William A. Kibbe & Associates became more widely recognized
for the quality of their work, demand grew for additional services
- still primarily in the design of manufacturing facilities.
We never met a client challenge we couldn't solve - with
the experience of our professionals or through the addition
of skilled, qualified - and passionate - engineers and staff.
We have added divisions as the needs of our customers - and
our reputation for creative problem-solving - has grown beyond
industrial work.
Today, WAK has seven technical departments located in our main office, a
spacious, modern building surrounded by parks.
The company is wholly owned by its employees and managed by an employee-based
Board of Directors.
